Security checks are now being finalised at Club Mooroo and the centre is being furnished. Its an exciting addition to the community's assets featuring two tennis courts, a gym, function room, café, picnic tables and barbecue facilities.
Elsewhere, development works continue quickly. Landscape works are planned to begin by the end of June, and civil construction is making good progress on Stage 5. Completion remains on target for August.
Workers have also virtually completed the southwest corner feature called The Rushes and on receipt of various approvals, landscaping will be finalised.
Plans are well advanced for the reconstruction of Sayers Road adjacent to Moorookyle, which will be managed by the local Council and partially funded by Moorookyle.
